Amenities

Hot tub lit from within at night, water moving and steam rising

The hot tub

On the deck, in the trees, lit from within after dark. It is the thing guests use every night, whatever the season.

Stone fireplace with a linear flame and a television above, tall window alongside

Fire and tall glass

The living room runs floor to gable in windows, with a stone fireplace at one end. Warm in February, bright in July.

Deck with parasol and seating projecting into the tree canopy

Decks in the canopy

Two levels of deck push out into the trees — one covered for rain, one open for coffee. You can eat outside most of the year.

Air hockey table on the upstairs landing beside a stair rail and tall windows onto the woods

Somewhere for the rain

An air hockey table sits on the upstairs landing, windows on two sides — exactly what you want on the one wet afternoon of the trip. There's a hopscotch rug too.

Charcoal grill on a post beside a picnic table, with a timber porch swing on the gravel below the cabin

Grill, picnic table, porch swing

Below the cabin there's a charcoal grill, a picnic table and a porch swing on the gravel. Cook outside, eat outside, and let someone else claim the swing first.
